Ursula Tathiana Comeau, nicknamed the WP Gal, is a self-taught WordPress addict who loves everything to do with WordPress, blogging, and social media. She has a strong background in service, support, and technical training, and has been using computers and technology since the mid-80s. She has been an active internet citizen since 1995, and loves to help people learn more about WordPress and the joys of blogging, among other areas of expertise. Ursula is a Friesen, Kaye and Associates (FKA) Certified Professional Instructor, and has a knack for making technical concepts easy to understand for beginners. She loves to share helpful tips and resources, especially on Facebook and Twitter (@UCTweets).

Ursula loves music and is also a composer and amateur photographer (when time allows). Her interest in web design stemmed from a desire to design her own website to host her compositions, and in 2008, she found the perfect solution in WordPress. The discovery led her to start doing freelance blog and web design work in addition to advancing her skills, and she presently spends most nights and weekends working on WordPress and social media projects.
